Who administers Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture?

The treatment should be performed by a licensed acupuncturist, with training in the specialization of Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture. Not all acupuncturists are specially trained in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture. Optimally, one should seek out a practitioner trained by an expert in this field.

As an experienced teacher and practitioner of Facial Rejuvenation, Virginia Doran, MS, LAc, LMT, is an internationally recognized expert. Ms. Doran has 33 years of clinical professional experience in the healing arts, with licenses in Massage Therapy and Acupuncture and a Master’s degree in Science in Acupuncture. She is a National Board certified diplomate (NCCAOM) in Acupuncture & Chinese Herbology. Ms. Doran has studied extensively with many masters of the healing arts. She has demonstrated her method of Facial Rejuvenation and Acupuncture on several TV networks (CBS News, UPN News, FOX Good Day New York, and the Maury Povich Show). Virginia was the Acupuncturist for photos in the Fall 1999 Versace catalog and for a Shape Magazine article on dermatological conditions. Ms. Doran has taught and lectured since 1998 on Facial Rejuvenation  through Acupuncture, Massage Therapy, Acupressure/Shiatsu, Aromatherapy, Chinese and Western herbology, Western and Eastern nutrition and Nutritional supplements, Qi gong and rejuvenating energy techniques, as well as flower essences. Ms. Doran has also studied and practiced Jin Shin Jyutsu, Reflexology, Applied Kinesiology, Energy Medicine. Her facial rejuvenation work has also been featured in the Fall/Winter 2001 Newsweek Special Edition: Health for Life, and in Latina, Shape, and Trump Style magazines, the New York Times and many other publications. Virginia has been very fortunate to have the exceptional distinction of being the first Westerner to teach acupuncture in Japan in their 1500 year acupuncture history.

Ms. Doran is currently writing two books on Facial Rejuvenation. The first book is for acupuncture practitioners on her original method of Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture. The second book, which will be made available to both the public and practitioners, is about Facial Rejuvenation utilizing Acupuncture and her program of various adjunctive modalities that can be self-applied.
