For thousands of years, the people of the Orient have known that beauty comes from the inside out. In order for a person to look their best, they must radiate health. Early on, the Chinese discovered and utilized ways to change the energy flow within the body to initiate the healing process for rejuvenation. They knew that many meridians either begin or end on the face and some have internal branches that go to the face. At least early as the Sung Dynasty (960 AD – 1279 AD), Acupuncture rejuvenation practices were employed for the Empress and the Emperor's concubines.

In Oriental medicine there is a famous axiom, "Where qi goes, blood flows." While this concept may sound mysterious to those unfamiliar Oriental Medical theory, everyone knows that increased circulation helps the body to look and feel younger. Common would sense tell us that treating the underlying cause of why someone is aging is preferable to masking the symptoms and allowing further decay and dysfunction to continue within the body.

How a person looks and feels about themselves can influence both their professional and personal life. Reasons for seeking this treatment may by professional or personal or a combination of both. Everyone wants to look their best, but in current times concern with one's appearance is perhaps overemphasized in our culture and some individuals feel societal pressure to live up to what may be unrealistic expectations. While this may be what initially motivates a person to seek treatments, they can still be helped immensely by addressing the root of their condition and by restoring their health in the process. It is also an excellent way to build and increase one's practice. After a successful treatment series, patients will return for periodic facial rejuvenation booster sessions as well as regular Acupuncture treatments for any conditions that might arise in the future. This is a fabulous chance to educate and expose those patients to the vast riches of Oriental Medicine and other holistic methods that they may no have come to know without their original intention of Facial Rejuvenation.

Please note: The course content may vary according to the sponsor's request. Consequently, you must check the actual course description for what specifically is included in that particular workshop.
